itunes 11 store sort search results

Can someone tell me how to sort search results from the itunes store? I'm not a heavy user of itunes. I want to see the most popular phone ring tones. So I type "phone tones" and get an option of results for iphone apps. However, when I "select all" it's still in picture form. If I go to view, column browser... I lose everything. I tried view options, but nothing happens. Isn't there a way to sort these?

I can't believe there's still no way to sort audio books. Apple, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT AUDIBLE! There are thousands of titles under the topic of, say, "fiction"... and they are not sortable?? You have taken away the option of browsing for titles. And these books are incredibly expensive, I would think you'd want to actually SELL some of them!

Potential purchasers should be allowed to filter things like abridged, length of recording, publish date, price, popularity, etc. ... even by author.

I can't believe that the newest version of iTunes LACKS BASIC SORTING OPTIONS.

Oh, and here's how dumb it is: the authors and narrators are in one column, and they're alphabetical by FIRST NAME.

If I try searching for an author, it pops back into picture view, and no column information.

Excellent news! I'm very grateful for your post. Apologizing for the imposition, do you know how I can find out "HOW" to access the sort results feature? If it has been restored, Apple has done a terrific job of hiding it! I searched for a particular Mozart composition, that means an Album. Many results were returned, although Apple doesn't want to give me a count (this box in front of me is a COMPUTER, right?) It would be extremely helpful to be able to sort the albums by customer review. I see some replies in this thread that say the sort feature is available, but I sure can't find it. Amazon.com to the rescue! (And, I think I'll buy from Amazon too.)
