Agreed that this is still a problem and that jeremygex's resolution doesn't work reliably. It seems particularly be a problem on systems with two monitors, where "maximizing" the iTunes window often results in small overlap between screens.
I don't know if that is related or a cause, but I do have dual monitors as well....But I always use my external one and the laptop one is always disable so not sure if that counts even....
I've seen this issue reported as early as 2011/2012 though, you would think after 3-4 years, Apple would have fixed this issue that affects multiple OS' and multiple iTunes versions....
How do you enable and disable the Side Bar?
Ctrl + / for status bar
Ctrl + s for Side Bar terug
Ctrl + Shift + B, to reinstate the Colum Browser
Thank you very much. This was the solution for me too.
After all this didn't solve my problem!
I have just arrived on my notebook, opened the iTunes and have th same problem.
Can anyone help?
Did you try the same thing as in my first post ?
And laptop is also Win 7 ??
Edit : //
I had to disable enable Side Bar / Status Bar a couple of times before I got it to stick.
Yes, I have followed all of your instructions.
I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bits.
My native screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I didn't change the Text Size. All of this is in the default sizes.
Is this resolution also the resolution for your Laptop ?
Just try to reduce the resolution on your laptop a bit and try the stuff in post #2 and see what happens.

Oke

Good Luck
Unfortunately this don't solved my problem😟
Sorry to hear this. I'm now out of options and also going to sleep !! 😉
Regards
I have played around a bit and (for me that is) it's a combination of playing with Maximize Box (the Square Box in the Upper Right Corner) and the interaction with the Taskbar. (From Post #2)
