Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I used to be able to change a song's rating via the Remote App. With the 3.0 Remote App upgrade, this capability seems to have been lost on the iPod Touch platform, but is still available from the iPad. Am I missing something???

Well, for my setup, you need to go to Now Playing>click on the little list icon in the upper right>above the Add,Edit and History Buttons but below the song description, there are 5 little white dots horizontally aligned. I've seen sporatic responsiveness from these, but they always seem to work if I push "Edit". You can then tap on the appropriate dot to chose your rating for the song that is currently playing.

Id say you're right, my remote app doesn't let me rate songs when playing via iTunes Match.
And if I use the remote to connect to Apple TV and then access the computer library from there I can't rate songs either.
I can only do it by using the Remote app to connect directly to iTunes on my Mac instead of the Apple TV.

Right Dude ! Something tells you Apple is working on this as we speak? And what tells you that? I suspect no one is working on this, because it is like already buried deep into this little used app.
WOULD BE NICE APPLE IF YOU SHOWED SOME INTEREST or that you were doing somehting.
I would like to see the Rating functionality added back to the iPhone Remote app when connected to iTunes 11.
Sure, I could connect with my iPad, but I specifically have my old iPhone working just for this type of Remote ap stuff. Please fix this.
Not on the iPhone version. Can't believe I'm wasting my time looking for this when I could be doing something else.

It is fixed now. If you download the latest version you will see. The rating option is back on the remote app and it works with the latest iTunes
Justin, Where is the setting to enable rating tracks? I can't seem to find it.
As of 3/9/13, I had v11.0.2 of iTunes on a Mountain Lion iMac but just updated 3.0.1 of Remote on iPhone and got the "rating" feature back (in its usual location).
