lost most of my notes

where is this yahoo notes folder?

Where is this yahoo noted folder?

Log into your web based email account through a web browser and you will see a folder called notes.

I accidentally deleted an important Notes folder on iPad but my email account is iCloud, not Yahoo, Hotmail etc. Any way I can find all my notes in icloud email? Thanks.

My wife has been going bananas because she lost her list of things to take on holiday (this takes some time believe me) but your answer has solved the problem, thank you !

These post were all helpful and this one saved me!!! I suddenly could not find my NOTES that had all my passwords. Yikes I was so upset. I reviewed the posts and tried them all but, what worked for me was logging directly onto all the email accounts attached to my notes directly from my computer NOT iphone go to the right side where the folders, sent etc. and look for notes. click there and I found all my notes. Also make sure you go to settings click mail, contacts, calendar and make sure the green button for notes is on for all of your email accounts. Please remember that your notes will go under what ever email account that you have it set on at the time you make the note. so some notes were on yahoo and some on gmail. etc. This was really a blessing for me. But, it worked. After signing on to all three of my accounts. I went back to my Iphone and lo and behold they were there. Don't call your phone carrier. They are clueless.

I thought I'd lost my notes, too. I also have an iPad mini, and noticed the notes app icon and clicked on it. What was more obvious on the iPad was that there are different accounts; in other words, it had different sets of notes saved under different email accounts.My missing notes were saved under my icloud account, although I didn't consciously ever put the notes under any separate account. They were visible when I clicked "All Notes," too. It turns out that the phone had a different account set as the default. I changed the default on the iPhone, and there they were. I took screen shots so the notes are saved in my photos, too. This was a lot easier than checking through a lot of backups. I hope that helps. I will post this on a couple of threads I see in Apple communities. I see it's a pretty common problem.

Beware if you update to Mavericks that the Notes folder disappears from your Mail app.

Mine was replaced by a new separate App called Notes, but most of my notes are not in it even though they are still in iCloud.

This really helped me!! Thanks!! It was weird...upgraded to maverick over a week ago and notes just suddenly disappeared tonight after having to do a force quit for mail!

let's face it, the OS has become too complicate.....MAC's are quickly approaching the dysfunctional level of Windows......
