Error Code -2

My sound hasn't been working lately in garageband. I posted a question a while back which was answered but the solution ( deleting the garageband related .cs and .plist files and restarting) worked for the first couple launches and then stoped working again. Now i updated and the sound didn't work again so I tryed what i had been doing. Now when i launch Garageband i get an error that says "Error code -2 was returned by the CoreAudio driver" I don't absolutely need garageband, but I would like to be able to play with it again. If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Whoops. I fixed the problem. I had moved my default project folder into the Shared user file in order to use the projects across multiple accounts. When it moved, it was assigned as owned by the System, and therefore couldn't be modified. Once I changed permission, everything is working perfectly again.

I have three Mac minis and all displayed the Error Code -2 symptom. The PowerBook and the eMac did not. With each of the minis I went in and changed the Preference according to Sunth Fan's suggestion in each user account.

I did post this on MacinTouch and acknowledged the input from Synth Fan who has answered this problem for me.

Yes! Thanks here as well. Much appreciated. I guess the only myster to solve now is how the built in driver should have become de-selected. I can think of two possible causes.

1) Plugging a different iPod into my system
2) Trying to connect Bluetooth Headset to use as Microphone
