Dan 3g?

Mine is doing the same thing, I just now noticed. Keeps showing Dan instead of AT&T in the upper left even after I reboot. I have no idea why its doing this.

I too am on the Dan network...

Perhaps Danzig has hacked AT&T.

Same with me. I called AT&T just now and they said that other users are reporting that they see "Dan" in the upper-left hand corner of their iPhones as well... and it all happened at the same time! @Dbo82 I think you may be right, it could possibly be a hack into the AT&T network.

Me too :-( we've been researching Dan for an hour because I couldn't get AT & T on phone. Is this malicious? Should we turn our phones off?

i had mine off for awhile. not sure if it's worth it or not.

Received this from an ATT chat:

"For some reason you are connecting to a partner tower. Please give me a few minutes to look into this for you."

I have the same problem too.

I was on the phone with 611 and they suggested me to call Apple instead...?

Also, I wonder if anyone with phones which are not iPhones has this problem.

Is the network safe to use?

I had my phone powered off for a few hours and when I powered back on, I experienced this same thing. Not sure why but I am actively searching for an answer or solution.

OH well. Guess we wait....

I'm going to power down, pull the SIM card out and power back up before reinstalling the SIM to see if that makes a difference. I am in PA in case anyone else is experiencing this in the region-maybe locations can help AT&T or Apple sort this out faster.

Boringj - I too live in PA. May be a regional issue? Who knows with ATT.

Well lets figure out the scope of this thing...where are people located? I am in central Pennslyvania
