In iTunes 11, the entire running time of a playlist is shown. But how can I see the total time only for the tracks that I have selected within that playlist? This was possible before iTunes 11. Now it's gone.
For example in the screenshot, I have selected a few songs but I can only see the time of the entire playlist. There is no total shown for only the selected tracks.

You have missed SimonTemplars point! The times is shown as 1.2 hours not as 1 hr 20 min 23 Secs. Who uses decimal timings??

Yes, well...I knew how to do that. Thought perhaps there was a way to surgically deal directly with the plist file.

He asked if there was a way to "deal directly with the plist file" and I offered "Try deleting it".
If you tried that and it didn't work, then ...........
