animating a beating heart

Does anyone have an idea how to animate a graphic of a heart so it looks like it's beating?

Final Cut Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

thanks for that. I really appreciate it. Most of what I've learn't so far I've gleaned from the Ripple Training series. Those guys are amazing!!!
