Thanks kilima, it had me baffled!
In the reply from kalima above, they indicate moving your cursor to the top of the screen and a menu bar will show up so you can
then click on the option to get out of full screen. Worked from me with Yosemite. Good Luck.
Thanks everyone, had the same issue on one of my windows machines. fyi on windows you go into the visualizer first and then click ctrl+shift+f and it does the same thing. You probably could have figured out the windows conversion easy like I did but just in case 😉.
I'm new to OSX 10.7 and was having this same problem with iTunes. Nothing I tried would get me out of the full screen mode. But the CMD-CTRL-F command did it. Thank!
Hello Roger
Background : I have installed Mac OS El Captain on a 17" i7 laptop....
Problem : I can't exit itunes when it opens, the escape key does nothing. I either quite itunes using command Q or I go to F3 and escape that way. Is there a setting to return to the classic OS 10 format such as OS 10.6. Or what do I do to get itunes to behave??? Any advice is welcome. Thank you Raoul
