Thunderbolt to USB cable?

I appreciate that Apple wants to push their Thunderbolt connection, but that doesn't do much good since there are few products out there that support Thunderbolt. It would have been great to have a 3rd USB 3.0 on the Retina and a single Thunderbolt port instead of 2-Thunderbolt ports and 2-USB ports. Is there such thing as a Thunderbolt to USB cable? I do alot of audio/photo editing and use external hardware that runs on USB.

Go ask them but keep expectations low. It's a classic hub where all ports share the one USB controller that it's connected to and its max data transmission rate, I bet. For you it means, you could connect a drive plus maybe some "slow" devices like keyboard or mouse to it. BTW, did you see the system requirements? No Mac?! Hahaha...

Waiting to hear back. I was thinking the signal would be split, but there is power for the unit, so I'm assuming they use that power for the USB ports so there isn't a loss. NO MAC? I just noticed that. It seems NOTHING I want is for a Mac. I just bouth the MacBook, but it's fine since I run it mainly on Windows(I know, what a waste of my money if I wanted a Windows lappy).
