Iphone 5 and IOS 6.0.2 is draining my battery!

Beware IOS 6.0.2!!

I loaded IOS 6.0.2 yesterday. Unfortunately it only partially fixed my wifi issues (I already have several posts about my wifi issues). But, to my complete and utter frustration, it introduced a NEW ISSUE I was not having before -- it is absolutely draining my battery. I can usually get through a day with about 75% of my battery power remaining. Today I've gone through 90% and I've done nothing special with it.

Come on, Apple! I know you guys have to be reading these posts. You are driving your loyal fan base away. I'm ready to get my money back and switch to Android. The time (hours-and-hours spent trying to debug my problems) and money do not seem worth it any more.

Yeah, same thing here. Battery draining like crazy. Doesn't matter if wifi is on or off, same deal. So I don't buy the aggressive wifi explanation. Also, my phone has been rattling and making the "loose" noise since day three. Now, there might be a connection.

Dude, we just got hold of a phone from a flawed and bad shipment. Nothing to do about it, since they will never admit to that in the store. We have to live with being under appreciated. So much for brand loyalty.

I have no words for this update! 2 hours sending only 2 sms and battery go down of 40%!! Before this update everything was working good, and I used my phone for the whole day. Now i have to charge 3 times in a day!! that is unacceptable from you! that's a shame for Apple. I will ask for a new phone if un update to resolve this problem will be realese in next weeks!!

With my old ios in the same condition, the morning i has something like 98 or 99 %.

And yesterday in the day i has just 5 hours of battery,i have used for games, mail, safari

There is a solution for back in 6.0.1?

If yes please give me a link with the manipulation...

The least I expect is for apple to sort this out before Christmas. I've been experiencing the same problem. I left my phone on the lowest brightness at72% thinkin it would easily last thru the night because it has done so before on many occasion but I wake up like an hour late because my phone died n I use it as an alarm. The phone has also been heating up a bit although I do think the wifi has improved... the same case is happening to my ipad mini in terms of poor battery life. I'm just really annoyed because I am a big apple fan but I am also a very poor apple fan and my family decided to scrounge all their savings together so tht they could get me an iphone 5 and an ipad mini this year as I havnt really had any birthday or Christmas presents for a while. So I feel very disappointed that my family went to all this effort n to spend so much on products that do not function properly and I am amazed that I and many others still have brand loyalty towards apple... The least they could do is some how show their appreciation.

How did you downgrade back to 6.0.1? I'm at 6.0.1 atm but I am probably going to replace my phone at the end of the week because of battery issues and I'm really scared of 6.0.2. If I get a replacement phone, what are the chances it will already arrive with 6.0.2? Or do all iPhone 5s arrive with 6.0 and then you have to manually update?

NO MORE DRAINING FOR ME!

Try turning off the phone and leave it for like 1 hour. After that, turn on the phone and see if the battery is still draining?

I did that and no more draining over night. Right now, I have about 20 hours of standby, 2 hours of usage with wifi, facebook, web surfing, app downloading... etc and battery is at 74% from a full charge.
