My phone is just showing a blank screen. It vibrates when out on charge and have heard a few alert tones.

Plug it in to charger. And hold the power and home button at the same time until apple logo apperard.
Just tried. Still wont turn on. Heard the charging beep but no logo!! :(

Okay so I've tried holding the front button with top right, but still doesn't turn on. Went onto the iPad and tried the "find my iPhone" app and sent out an alert. Didn't work immediately, but after I took my sim out, it beeped. Please help...any assistance would be massively appreciated...early Xmas present!!!:)
