No, Whatsapp is unwilling to support two versions of the app. However, I fully support your decision to buy an Android phone and start using those forums.

Sad, sad, sad. I have been consuming apple products since i can remember. I was a true believer. One of the reasons I was a true believer is the matter that they made products that lasted a long time. Now that seems to be a problem, the product outlasts their policies and want to force us to buy their newer products.

If Apple keeps making it so we have to consume more of their very expensive products just so they can make a buck, not caring about our own economy, i might have to reconsider. I rather buy cheap and not care to have the cute and expensive.

I have and iPhone G3 that worked perfectly till this decision was made. Bye Apple. It just does not seem fair to us, the consumers, the ones who make you what you are.

I could not agree more with you. I guess soon the car market will catch up with this new trend and make us change cars every two years cuz they programed something to it to stop working.

Its the new era, money is more important than anything else.

its because your ios is too low for the app to run i suggest if you can update the ios or by a newer phone

Apple... thank you for not updating the iphone3 IOS to be compatible with the last whatsapp´s version. I go to buy a Samsung mobile. Not forced obsolescence !!

considering that the samsung galaxy s3 mini is more powerful than the 4S and half it's price, you probably did a very good investment 🙂 I'll also go the android route because I actually like complicated things compared to most of the apple users that don't know a thing about smartphones or computers - the iphone just looks good but it's laking a lot of features
