Laptop questions

My question isn't specifically about iDVD but I couldn't find one that suited my questions. So here they are:

1: is flash drive better then RAM for the purposes number two will specify?

2: I would like to have a laptop that can handle:

A) playing games either via both disc and laptop or one of those...

B) watching movies either via disc or online or both.

C) typing in a place like Microsoft word.

D) syncing and downloading things from my iPhone to a MacBook pro...

Which MacBook pro would be good for all these purposes?

MacBook pro or retina display -OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), And MacBook mountain lion

You write English very, very well. Normally, we either get 'broken English' that's just not understandable or a native tongue that (I, for one) need to run through Google Translate. I answered a question, in German, on the Adobe forums this morning. A native speaker - also a very good English speaker - told me that my Google Translation advised the user to "get over on the manufacturer" when I had written, in English, "get in touch with the manufacturer."

Google Translate can create some awkward situations...

Best of luck on your new MBP purchase!

Thanks for the compliment!

Yeah, i know that. I have a friend in holland that I was trying to impress by showing her that I can speak her native tongue, and I put some words via one of the app translators on this iPhone and then i pasted it and put it in our conversation on email and what I said came out all wrong. I think she corrected me or something.

Thanks, and best of luck with those foreign languages that you're not familiar with.
