The Apple TV Movie menu icon and TV show menu icons have disappeared from the main menu on my Apple TV.
I have tried logging out from iTunes account and restarting the box, but still nothing.
Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Although changing the location to United States in "Settings - iTunes Store - Location" brings both icons back and they work absolutely fine.
Changing back to UK just shows the TV Shows icon for me at the moment.
So using the United States location may be a workaround for the time being?
Same problem in Hong Kong. I've tried logout and login with my apple id. still!
Movies and TV shows gone in Cyprus too.
My movies icon has just re-appeared (I'm in the UK)... so hopefully this means a fix is imminent.
Have now got TV shows back here but still no movies.
My film icon has gone too. I've just fired my second Apple TV up and after about one or two seconds the icon disappeared also on thies device. Not very good, Apple.

Got Movies back, but it took away TV Shows!
The movie icon is still missing in Finland
I suspect that it's work of an emergency nature, and not planned. As you say, that would be bizarre!
Same problem in Norway - Movie Icon Dissappeared from my Apple TV. I´ve unplugged all cables on ATV, on router and on modem. I´ve also reset my ATV to factory setting.

I already restar and set to factory default configurations, but the problem persists.
Same in Switzerland.
Wanted to see a nice movie with the kids, did not work. Very sad experience.
Same here in Canada, Movie and TV icons gone.
