Apple TV Movie icon disappeared from Menu

Is it just the movie and TV shows icon or are there other icons missing too.

There are reports of TV Shows missing from users screens, initially it looked like this might be an issue in the UK only, but it may well be more widespread. It appears to be an issue that can't be fixed by the user, you will need to wait until this is resolved by Apple.

I've got the same problem too, my movies icon has just vanished .. Was there a few moments ago.

SAme has happened to me..tried everything.....ended up with family watching films on virginmedia......well done Apple..good advert for Apple TV

It is also happening to my appletv in Hong Kong

Same here in the Netherlands. It was just there a moment ago. Really weird. Also did a restart and a reset. But no Movie icon.

Same in Switzerland. Restart did not help.

Same problem (Denmark). The icon disappeared while I was watching it as I navigated the menu. Tried reboot, cold reboot, logging out/in of iTunes on the ATV and every mac and PC in the house.

Same problem in Hong Kong. I've tried logout and login with my apple id. still!

Movies and TV shows gone in Cyprus too.

My movies icon has just re-appeared (I'm in the UK)... so hopefully this means a fix is imminent.

Have now got TV shows back here but still no movies.
