Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

The file “100_1377.JPG” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it.

Can anyone help, every time I try to open a photo with preview app I get this message 'The file “100_1377.JPG” couldn’t be opened because you don’t have permission to view it.' To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.

I have been to the finder and choose file but it gives me no option to change permissions.


The photos open fine with Safari Google Chrome etc.
