My ipod Touch was stolen on September 25, 2015. Apple sent me a notification via email that someone's trying to change my apple password 8 times. The time my gadget was stolen, the location setting was turned off. Is it possible for me to still trace my ipod via icloud if it will connect to the internet? I have already put my ipod in lost mode. I refuse to delete my datas because I'm still hoping to track the thief. I wish there's a situation where I can permanently deactivate my gadget if it will not be returned to me.

I Just recently bought an iPod touch from a shady looking dude in a parking lot. turns out it's probably been stolen. If you guys can describe your iPod to me and tell me the first letter of your Apple ID I'll give it back to you. The message it gives me says. "$500 reward if returned". I really want to get this iPod back to its owner. FYI. It's iCloud activation locked
