iOS 6.1 beta 4 instead of 6.1

Update via : settings > general > software update > update.

Or it must be updated via PC.

Same here!!!! I am not a developer... Whats going on? My other iphone (4S) showed the normal 6.1

Same problem here. Verizon iPhone 4s. Not a developer. Software Update shows 6.1 Beta 4. Phone has always been updated over the air.

Try force quitting the Settings app. Then restart the iPhone. This worked for me in a similar situation. I never updated the two iPhone 5 I manage to 6.0.2. I decided to wait for 6.1. When I went to update, the update screen constantly prompted me to update to 6.0.2, no matter what. It was not until after the force quit and reset that the software update in settings prompted me to update to 6.1.

Now, I am assuming that none of you (or a friend or someone else) installed a beta of iOS 6.1 on your phones, right?

I tried your approach but it still shows 6.1 beta 4.

I have never installed a beta on this phone. I am currently at 6.0.1 (10A523)

Strange. Anybody tried to update via iTunes?

I haven't connected my phone to my computer in over a year, so no. I am trying to live in a post-PC world. I am wondering if it will install the correct update if I just go ahead with it. Maybe the label is just wrong. A little scared to try, though.

It could be a mislabel, but then again NOT! Since the beta expired on Sunday, if you update and it IS the beta, you might be stuck...

That is a really bad idea should anything go wrong during the update. At the very least I hope you are backing via iCloud.

Having the same issue (on Verizon).

Update: killing the settings app and restarting the iPhone didn't work for me, but after connecting it to my computer I was able to upgrade to 6.1 correctly through iTunes.
