Although I have the latest Java update 11 installed and working fine, suddenly appeared the inactive plugin signal and tried it with all browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Safari.
Opened up the Java preferences, everything is OK and tried reinstalling the Java, but the problem keeps on.
I hope I can get some help.

Apple disabled both Java 6 and Java 7 for browser use again. You'll have to wait for Update 12 to appear in Software Updates. I read that it's in beta test, but no telling how long it may be.
The link at Apple's download for Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 12 gets redirected to update 11. This is broken and I don't expect any fixes until after the weekend.
