Did a hard reset (reboot) on my iphone5 ios6.1 and it did the job.
Appstore now works fine
Hi mate, I am come from Cambodia and I face this problem too, when I try to view an app its show the message " Too many HTTP redirects " but I found the way to not to see this message again. hold the home button at the same time with sleep/wake botton for 10 second, it works for me, and I hope it works for you too. 🙂
Hard restart didnt worked 😐. Did it for 10X
I read some comments suggesting a FULL Reset and I'm a bit iffy doing that bacause it might just occur again
Just do it through iTunes and set up the iPhone as new. Do you have a lot of important files in your iPhone?

Resetting my iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button down simultaneously until it rebooted did the trick for me. I'd try that first before going through the trouble of a restore.
This didn't work for me. This is beyond frustrating. The updates bug is another thing.
Hi! Here's what worked for me: I deleted all the pages in safari app , quit the app from the background. No reboot or restore was necessary in my case. Let know if it helped, seems that it's a common issue.
Just a question, did you had a problem with the App Store or Safari giving you "too many HTTP requests"?
I couldn't access any app details, from the appstore. It worked with appsfire app tough.
I asked because when i had the issue I closed my Apps but that didn't worked for me. I actually ended up resetting my iPhone to its Factory Settings. I used my computer to do it. That seemed to fix the problem.
To be honest, I'm very surprised the developers did not found this error during their beta testing. I kind of feel Apple threw in a last minute change to the security features?
You're probably right. I guess the problem is with sites like gmail that redirects 3 or 4 times before you get to your account. Still, the issue came up with 6.1 update.
I actually had this problem when accessing my passbook and then clicking in their find apps button. It seems to be affecting just about any redirect link in their system.
3rd day of having too many redirects..
Well pressing and holding sleep and home button worked like magic. Thanks a lot. Faith in apple discussion forum restored.
I tried rebooting using the home and sleep buttons, but that didn't work.
Then, I tried rebooting using only the sleep button, sliding to power off, waiting a few seconds, pressing the sleep button to restart...and that worked.
Unfortunately I've tried all the solutions that others have said worked for them but none have worked for me. I'm now waiting for Apple to release an update that fixes this frustrating bug. It's very disappointing that Apple themselves have to date not commented in this thread about what they are doing to fix this issue. It's the very least they should do to reassure their loyal customers.
