Im going to order an Ipad with Retina display. I would really like to get a micro-sim from the network Three - as they seem to do the best offers. Problem is, I have read/heard people say that you have to check the carrier of your ipad, as different Ipad carriers can use different Networks?

I keep getting so confused! Is the carrier the network you are using (sim card), or is it the 'Sprint, Verizon or AT&T'
People keep saying carrier for both and its really confusing me lol
also there are loads on online catalogue - buy now pay later. Well known companies like tesco, Very, K&KO, currys, but they just doesnt say whether they are Sprint, Verizon or AT&T

Even on the Apple Store, i cant see any clear reference as to whether it is Sprint, Verizon or AT&T .. It just says three networks you can use it on - 02, Orange and vodafone
