How do I save a picture on my iPad from an email that was sent to me

Tap and hold down on the photo and a Save option will pop up. Tap Save and the photo will go into the camera roll in the photos app.

OK. Found the cameras roll. My pic that I am trying to save is not there. Any other suggestions

Well, at least you were able to save the photo and now you know what to do. Maybe this was just a fluke. I'm glad that you were finally able to get it done.

You should just be able to hold your finger down on the photo for a few seconds then a pop up menu will come up offering you the option to save the photo.
