iPhone 5 not waking up! Have to press home/sleep button numerous times

Hey Apple peoples

Does anyone have an issue w their iPhone 5 where pressing the home/sleep buttons does NOT wake up the phone in one press? I have only had mine since late Oct 2012 and several times a day it just decides to have an extended snooze. I have to hit the home button or sleep button numerous times before it kicks into gear. Phone has been updated w latest software, backed up, restored...nothing will fix it so hoping someone out there has an answer!

I take back what i said earlier.

Had the problem again this morning so disabling the passcode did not solve it :-(

To anyone who has this problem where the iphone 5 won't wake up from sleep mode: it's a bad phone. Take it back to the apple store asap and have it replace before the warranty runs out. I had this problem and had the phone replaced. It used to happen every day but it's been 2 weeks since I got a replacement and haven't had a single issue. If they have replaced your phone and it still does it then they just replaced it with another bad phone. It's not software related, it's the phone itself. Just trying to save everyone some time and agonizing....
