how do i connect facetime between ipads

each ipad has to have a different appleid to face time to, you cant facetime the same appleid on 2 different dvices

Setup a phone number or email address to be contacted at in Facetime by going to Settings->Facetime.

Set a different one for device number 2.

Then make sure those addresses are assigned to a contact in your contact list. And in the ontact list of the other device.

Then, form inside the Facetime App, simply look for the contact that has the address that is setup in the other iPad and tap on it to start the Facetime call.
