I want to run flash (swf files) in standalonemode in iPad 2. How do I do that?
I understand that I need to convert into an ipa file through flash cs5 itself but there is no way to test it without having a developers account.
I don't mind paying $99 to Apple to become a developer but first I need to test it!!!

2. No. A paid developer account is required to run an app on any device.
Stand alone mode is independant running of a file.
The only 'files' that can be run on a device are those generated and installed via Xcode.

I believe it is possible only through the App only.
The only problem is that Apple does not allow your own App to test in your own device. One has to pay to become a developer first & pay $99 first.

Everyone has to pay the admission fee so how is that unfair?
This cannot be compared with admission fee. It is not a school, college or a course.
If somebody takes an admission fee then one teaches too. Do they teach???
I have paid for a device. I must be allowed to do whatever I want to do with it.
