I am getting this error when submitting through iTunes Producer: *** -[__NSCFString substringToIndex:]: Range or index out of bounds

I was afraid you'd ask that. It was almost two weeks ago now and you forget stuff that isn't broken anymore. But if memory serves-- take iTunes Producer and throw it in the trash, then restart, then reload iTunes Producer, it should ask you to log-in in some fashion, maybe not username and password but something. Do that. The problem seems to be that the new version of Producer isn't coupling properly with iBooks Author until it is formally introduced.

Territories is another name for countries, that's in iTunes Producer in the Rights section. iTunes Connect doesn't really come into play until the book is published, and yes, you can change "territories" in Connect, but that's another matter.

Its not working!!! Ahhhhhhhhh! this is craziness...I resaved my name in Itunes content...then drop the itunes producer in the trashed and downloaded it again....I have two books that are not making money because they are not in itunes producer....

What is Apple saying? The lower end people try to be very helpful, the higher end people, which I think you may need are busy indeed. We aren't the only ones who got tripped up by this "upgrade". Call em. 877-206-2092

I was receiving the same message. I saved the .ibooks version to my desktop and opened iTunes Producer and then imported the .ibooks file. This worked.
