iOS app for recording iPhone/iPad screen as a video.

Is there any free iPhone/iPad app that can record iPhone/iPad screen as a video with the front facing camera and export the video to the camera roll?

If yes then can anyone please give me the ITunes link ?

If no then I am planning to write an app that will be able to do this task and it will be free. So how does it sound ? Feel free to give any suggestion if you have...

What worked for me was Reflector: http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/

You can download the free trial to your Mac/PC which gives you 10 minutes

It allows you to create mp4 videos in the application (right click - as below). But you can also use screen capture programmes like Camstudio if you have any issues.

The Apps mentioned, don't work - be sure to read the scathing reviews on itunes.

Thanks Bababarghi. I did download it prior to it being pulled - as a better 'on the fly' solution than Reflector

xrec does seem a little bit temperamental though - crashing in OS6 IP5 for me and annoyingly I can't see at the moment how I delete the MOV/MP4's that have been created in it.

Now that they've pulled it I guess there's no hope of updates either!!!!

Why would they pull it anyway?

Sorry, I'm new here and I didn't know I can't suggest making any procedure that violates Apple's user terms like Jailbreaking or modding your devices, although it's kind of obvious cause this is an oficial Apple forum.

Anyways, you can always mirror whatever you like on your HDTV via Apple TV and then record everything you do with something else.
