3g not working on Iphone 4s 6.1.2 and 6.1.3

Hi!

Im in mexico at the Moment with a carrier called TELCEL and I wanted to know if this is a carrier problem or if someone else is having trouble connecting to a 3g or mobile internet in general from the Iphone 4s with the latest updates.

the 3g sign is at the top like always but if i want to surf or use any applications with internet it doesnt work.

I had this problem with the 6.1.2 update and with the hope of fixing the problem I upgradet it to 6.1.3 yesterday but im still having the problem

can someone help me??

Dears..i have a problem in 3g network in my iphone 4s verizon OS 6.1.2. A week ago, i paid for official unlock for my device hoping that the 3g would work but unfortunately the same problem is still there. my iphone was bought from usa two years ago and i am using it now in yemen. all other similar iphones work on 3g althogh most of them are still hacked and not officially unlocked. what i observed in these iphones that they are still have OS 6.0.1 or older. could anyone advise me what to do to solve this issue as i many times went to CDMA service providers in my country and they said most iphone with the OS 6.1.2 or newer rarely work on 3g network.

Who did you pay to "officially" unlock the phone? Apple does not unlock phones, for any price. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can "Officially" unlock the phone. And no US carrier charges to unlock the phone.

So if it wasn't AT&T or Verizon who unlocked the phone it was not "officially" unlocked, and you were cheated.

I paid to verizon and it is now unlocked. i am using both CDMA as well GSM freely and can insert whatever i want of working GSM sim cards. but as long as 3g network is provided in my country through CDMA network i am using it but without 3g due to connection problem in my iPhone after update
