ios 6.1.3 don't let me use wi-fi and bluetooth on iPhone 4s, i don't have an apple store here, what can i do?

My hubby had the same problem, we tried everything and did not work, so he took to Vodafone (NZ) where we got it from, they sait its a commom problem and they would sent it to apple and he would get a new phone in 2 weeks.. that was fine until and asket him to double check if it would be a brand new phone (his phone was within apples garentee). Our surprise was that the phone he will get is not new, is a refurbished phone. Well i dont think its fair, we paid for a new phone, now we will get a REFURBISHED (that cost much cheaper) and that we dont know what problem it had before.. Is that commom?! Is everybody getting a used phone?! Why they cant just fix our own phone?!

Normally Apple will give you a refurb phone, which is standard, they do the same in UK as well.

so what happen next is your Iphone will get repaired and will become someone elses:).

i know this is cheeky as it should be like for like. i would say that your husband should go direct to apple and get it replaced from there store, in which case he can argue a brandnew phone but the problem is even he get a brandnew phone, you still have to update it to new version unless you dont want to and can end up with same sinario.

I have same problem

I have the same problem. It was OK after the update but while I was traveling wirelsss greyed out and Bluetooth is not accessible. Apple please release a fix to the problem as it has already cost me a fortune in data roaming charges. Or is is Samsung for me!!

Finally, I solved my problem. I removed the back cover, and warmed wi-fi module by hairdryer of my wife). during last five days wi-fi works great. I do not know what will happen next.

during operation iphone must be turned off. time of heating is near five minutes. I did not turn on a phone until it has cooled down to about 40 degrees celsius. wifi module is located upper the battery, on the upper right corner of device if you look from back.

I have same issue after upgrade to 6.1.3 no wifi address show as well as option for wifi. Wifi function grayed out. I try to restore and also reset network setting with airplane mode. Not thing seem to work. I'm also living over sea, I just went back to USA and get replacement phone due to touch screen issue. Now what do I need to do here, apple store here won't support phone purchase from USA 😟 I called apple support yesterday, he said that I need to purchase extended warranty or pay for apple care support line. Why do I still have to pay if the phone still under warranty and the problem is causing by upgrade ios to 6.1.3.

What is my other option? Apple in Thailand here said that I can asked to transfer warranty to Thailand, but when I call they said that they cannot transfer warranty. Please advise. I can't use wifi to access internet and there's no 3G in my area.

BTW, apple email where it ask to click button to "diagnose" doesn't work on all of my browser (chrome, firefox, safari, ie) on window vista. Please check on the bug.
