iOS 6.1.3 battery drainage

Last night I updated my iPhone 4S to a iOS 6.1.3 and now it drains my battery in extremely fast manner. As I started signing in to write this question from my iPhone I already lost 13% of my battery. I never had a problem with a battery and ive been using iphones since the first one. i miss my morning class because of it because my alarm clock didn't because my phone was dead. Please fix it or have no choice but buy Samsung GS4

I've offered a LOT of advice. Go back a few dozen pages I just don't keep repeating what I said on every page like you.

The solutions are 0. None. There is no solution for this issue. The ios 6.1.3 battery drain issue has no solution except wait for apple to fix it. That's the truth. There's nothing more to say.

You didn't have an ios 6.1.3 drain issue. You had a crappy app draining your battery issue. Those are 2 different things. You're providing solutions to nothing.

It's currently 144th most downloaded app on the store. Previously it's been top 10 and for months it was in top 50.

We're talking millions and millions of downloads to achieve that kind of position.

So no, we don't need to post screenshots. And even if we did, you'd claim they were fake like you did earlier when we posted screenshots of our battery life.

What have you to gain here?

It doesn't matter. Chrome has nothing to do with the topic. This is about ios 6.1.3 draining the battery. Not about Chrome.

Somehow you can't get that through your head.

I've already given the issue. The issue is that ios 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 is reporting the incorrect battery %. Your % goes down like a rocket until your phone dies. Also the % jumps around for no reason and many people are reporting their phones die at 15% pr 10%.

This isn't a Chrome issue. It is an iOS issue.

Get on topic and get it through your head.

I'm not going to replace it because I've sorted my battery problem. I gave up JB and updated from 6.1.2 to 6.1.3 and currently have 83% battery after 3h 50m usage and 16h standby. At that rate I'll get 90 hours out of it which is good enough for me. And I've turned Location services on for some apps and still getting great battery life. More than happy I updated now after the problems I had with 6.1.2.

Also, just to respond to something you said in another post about iPhone battery life being historically poor whichever iPhone version, check out the Android forums. They're all full of poor battery issues because Android OS is poor at managing the battery and it won't be any different with the S4. I've just come from Android, within the last 2 weeks, and I wouldn't go back to Android for anything, even after all the issues I had with 6.1.2.

There are exceptions but these are user exceptions and not handset exceptions and the same can be said about iPhone. There is not a single smartphone in the world where you will find zero complaints regarding battery life. It's just how it is.

Mai pen rai.

last night when i went to bed at 12 AM, I had 90% battery. I woke up at 8 AM with 41% battery.

Anyone care to explain why it's draining so much so fast?

I don't use location services, push/fetch are set to manual, even in the advanced settings and I turned off all my apps in the multi tasker. No icloud or anything.

Do I just have a ****** battery? My iphone 4s is over a year old.

My phone barely hits 4 hours of usage of texting, checking mails, using pandora, and browsing safari.
