Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I cannot send emails with my iCloud email address in Outlook for Mac 2011 and get error message 5.7.8. I have used this iClound email address for months without a problem and for the last 5 days it will not work. I have tried all of the mail settings suggested my the support posts. Does anyone have another solution?

So I had this problem and found that GoGo Delicious post on March 29 2013 worked. I did not have my password changed, but when I read his post, I changed my password. I then followed his instructions and used for the SMTP password the old password that I had just changed. I can't believe that this is still a problem, after a couple of years have passed. I have mostly been impressed and appreciated Apple, but the fact that this problem still exists really sours me towards Apple. Anyhow, GoGo Delicious, thanks for your post and help in getting this resolved.
