Anyone else having "No service" problem after update to 6.1.3? iPhone 4S

I went from iOS 6.0 to iOS 6.1.3 last week and now I have "No service". Happend right after update. I have done everything I can to try to fix it except restore to earlier iOS, which is not possible with iPhone 4S. My SIM works fine in my older iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.

I have tried to reset all settings, network settings, restore from DFU mode, recover/restore mode. As a fresh phone. NOTHING makes a difference.

Anyone else having this problem? I now have a feeling that I have to pay for it to be fixed (probably just giving me a new phone). All just because I wanted to update my iPhone. This is Apple's fault, not mine. Thank you.

Hi guys.

I dont have a screen protector or anything else that could block signals.

I tried turning off 3G and restart, didnt help. Neither did turning on airplane mode and off again several times.

I have tried every possible solution there is out there for almost a week now. I have talked to my carrier, Apple, the store i bought it and searched all over the web. Nothing has worked.

Today i turned in my phone to get it replaced of fixed. I will probably get a new one for free.

Ok the problem appears again BUT i think that this time i found whats happening exactly..its a game that causing the problem..and that game is 8 ball pool from miniclip. Everytime I play the game and then quit my phone loses the signal on sleep. I tried and killed the application with double click...guess what ?!?! The problem never ever happened again!!

Maybe there are some more apps or games out there that can cause yhe problem so be sure to kill them all and try again...hope that helps! It really worked for me!!!

Thankfully, I don't have that game onboard. But then, the spate of "No Service" incidents I've had are minimal compared to what you've been reporting.

If it should come to pass that the game is positively linked to "No Service" failures, Apple should be notified immediately. One of the reasons for the much maligned "walled garden" approach to the App Store and the whole iPhone/iPad/iPod ecosystem is to ensure reliability and safety in all the applications that find their way into our iGadgets. Covenant clearly broken if the app turns out to be the culprit. A much more serious breach compared to other apps banned cause they displayed some butt-colored pixels or less than holier-than-thou language onscreen.

I have the same problem after updating to 6.1.3 on my iphone 4s. Sometimes I fix it, then it just happens again later.. very frustrating.. Have tried everything.

I don't have that game. But I have read stuff about find my iphone and find friends apps possibly doing it.. but I've removed those and sometimes it fixes then its back to being broken.
