Wifi drops constantly - Macbook Retina Pro

I have a new Macbook Pro Retina that I have been using for a few months. Everything is great except one really infuriating problem. The wifi drops constantly, every few minutes I will see the wifi icon start flashing like it's connecting to a network, it will reconnect no problem, but again, after a while it will just randomly disconnect itself. There are other devices on the network, like my iphone that never drops. I am wondering if there is a solution to this problem?

Also, I do have bluetooth turned off, I don't think there is any interference from that. I used to have a Macbook Air that did not have this problem. I upgraded from a 2010 Macbook Air to a 2012 Retina Pro, and that's when the problems started.

I was super frustrated with the Wifi dropping too. I tried a bunch of stuff, even getting my wifi card replaced under warranty. Nothing worked at first, and then I got this, and it seems to work: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pingfixer/id808479246?mt=12

I've also been trying to figure out this problem for a while. I discovered that I could reproduce the loss of WiFi signal on a Late-2013 Retina Macbook 15" by using Network Utility to send unlimited pings to 8.8.8.8, and then pressing the Airport button in the OS X menu bar. This would bring up the grey text reading “WiFi: Looking for Networks”, and simultaneously, Network Utility would ‘timeout’ about four pings.

Apple is using its Appleseed program to grant wider public access to pre-release software. There's currently a beta version of OS X version 10.9.3 available as part of Appleseed, and that beta has fixed my WiFi problem:http://appleseed.apple.com/
