To correct the incorrect information given here, FT does work on unmodified AE phones. The carriers can block it and it is no longer dependent on the model number. HERE IN THE GULF for example, Wataniya block FT use whereas Zain for example allows it.

Therefore, check the carrier you are using, NOT the AE model number.
