I took notes in my class using the app on my iPhone but a week later when I went back to the notes it was deleted and gone. I know it was on my phone because I looked over it after class. Is there any way to recover it? I looked on my icloud but there was nothing on there.

I logged into my email account and searched for my deleted note and it was there! Thanks for the help guys!

I read one of the responses about looking in my e-mail and I have aol and I looked under folders and then notes and all my notes were there! I thought they were deleted. Thank goodness!

What I'd like to see is maybe a script that would back up notes to text files that are accessible by Time Machine. It seems odd that notes are excluded from such a useful product. I want to make sure I can restore a note from last week.

Yesterday I wanted to view something from "Onedrive" in "Notes", only Apple knows why, but the entirety of my notes that were not on my iPad, disappeared in an instant!
I just stared at the blank screen with that sinking feeling we all know so well!
Many times I had casually wondered why my gmail address appeared above the most used list!
Reading this thread gave me hope that I might recover my work which spans quite a few years, but alas, I couldn't find the "Fabled Folder" said to lead us to Nirvana!!
Here's a tip that might help other gmail users, just search your mail for "me:", that's the pseudonym that iPad uses to "phone home" with your thoughts and other scribbles! 😎

Now all we need is a one click method of re-instating our precious notes, ...you know, just like the way they disappeared!
Besides not being able to backup and restore individual notes, I notice that sometimes I will see an old version of a note with a date in its name. I have no idea why those show up and no idea why they disappear.
Lost my notes a few wks ago. Was looking reason, googled tonnes of stuff ( that didn't work ) until I stumbled on this. Got ALL my notes back. Happy out here.Thanks so much.
