How is someone I know receiving my text msgs?

I found out last week from my girlfriend that her husband is receiving my text messages on his iphone/ipad. I have an iphone 4 with os 6.125. I upgraded to 6 from 4.3 in february. tonight, I also noticed that text threads that I had with her ex husband were deleted from my phone and I am not sure what else

I realize imessage is the new change to my phone but i never gave anyone my apple id and pwrd. what other possibilities are there for how he could be receiving my txt messages?

when you enter someone elses apple id and pwrd on a phone that ALREADY has an apple id and pwrd, what happens? do you just see all the text threads blended together in one list? or do you have to alternate between one apple id and another? would he have to re-enter my apple id every time he was looking at my text msgs? or do all of the messages come in simultaneously (his and mine at the same time)?

If I gave you my apple and id and password, would you be able to remotely delete text threads on my phone? or was someone deleting them for me from my iphone? what else can you see or access on my phone? I was able to confirm there was no jailbreak on my iphone.

I wish that were the case....

Are the SMS messages the ones that exceed a certain number of characters?

Is it possible that this could happen if I plugged my phone into her computer to download an update and did not back up my phone? I think I had to even install itunes to do it?

Can someone tell me where in the settings you actually enter the apple id and pwrd?

It is NOT possible for him by using your Apple ID to have the SMS messages you sent to your girlfriend . There is software that will archive messages that's available for both Macs and PCs. However, it doesn't happen in the background. You would have had to have told the software to archive the messages.

if he entered MY apple id and pwrd on HIS phone that ALREADY has an apple id and pwrd, what happens?

Gail: no I have never given anyone my apple id and password.

Are you certain the iphone can only accept one apple id at a time?

It can only accept one apple ID at a time for imessage. IF you look at the settings in message there is only room of rone apple ID there

Meg: this is the odd thing. She said he had all of my text messages.

I assumed this was since I updated to OS 6.1.2 and the imessage feature was added to my iphone.

where in the settings do you enter the apple id and pwrd?

when i go to settlings/itunes i see my apple id at the top but nothing to click to change it?

Settings>Messages>iMessages>On. It will then ask you for your Apple ID and password.

go to your apple profile online and un register the deivce
