How do I get my FaceTime icon back on my iPhone 5 after accidentally deleting it

I agree with you VegasGyrl25. I purchased my iPhone 5 in June 2013. I had the FaceTime app for a few days and then it disappeared. I never spoke to anyone about it because I don't mind taking the extra steps to use it through my contacts. Wish they would fix this problem and bring back FaceTime.

I got my iPhone 5 the day it was released. I've had every version of iOS 6 and it never had a FaceTime application.

Thanks. No one else has had it either unless they jailbroke their iPhone so there is nothing to fix.

@Adajad- Don't even waste your time your not going to get any help here! Matter fact do yourself a favor and never use this forum again! All those that have responded negatively swear they know all there is to know about Apple as if they themselves were the inventors! Helpful information, when I did the IOS 7 update I got the icon back, so hopefully this is of some help! Good Luck!

Did you get the FaceTime settings or did you get the actual FaceTime app like the iPad has?

If you have iOS 7 you do have it; no version prior to that had it.

There is a facetime icon on the Iphone 5.

Yes, it was added with iOS 7 as I said in the post above yours.

VegasGyrl25 is absolutely correct.

Just picked up a shiny new iPhone5S for my wife, it was on my iPhone5 but then stranegly disappeared, i would imagine its for the reason offered above which was then touted as "smoke out your tail pipe" some time further down the thread.

I was looking for the same solution but am happy to just do it via the contacts list.

Why are you reviving a thread thats been dead for months now? FYI, FT IS available as an icon on the iPhone on iOS 7 but NOT on iOS 6 which is what this thread was referring to. If your FT icon on your new phone dissapeared, maybe your wife "magically" put it inside a folder or it is restricted.

Settings>>General>>Reset>>Reset Home screen layout.
