Downloading photos from my Sony Cyber-shot
When I try to download photos from my Sony Cyber-shot to my iPad I get two messages: Not Supported & Too Much Power Required. Any suggestions on what I can do differently? Thanks.

One more question... I'm looking at getting the iPad with Retina Display. There are two accessories to load photos from camera to iPad: Lightning to USB and Lightning to SD Card. Would either of these work with my Sony Cyber Shot? Thanks!
I have 4 Sony camera (H3, H5 H50 and A100) and they all work with my Camera Connection Kit (30 pin CCK).
If your Sony Cyber Shot doesn't work with the old CCK, there's no guarantee that it'll work with the new CCK.
Hi all , I would appreciate any assistance or advice anyone could provide as I am rather stuck.
I have connected my Cybershot ( model DSC - W270) via USB cable and Apple Camera Connector Kit to my iPad 1 and nothing happens.
There seems to be no obvious way to progress from there as I cannot find any menu to select any additional options?
Am I missing something?
Taurus60, next time please open your own thread for the sake of users looking for an answer to the same problem.
The answer is you need to enable USB Mode on the camera. See the user's manual here: http://www.sony.jp/cyber-shot/emdown/data/W270_im_GB.pdf
You're a genius!! It worked! Thanks so much.
You haven't told us how you are doing the download.
Are you using the iPad Camera Connection Kit as described here?

Copy photos to Dropbox in computer.
Photos will automatically appear in Dropbox on iPad.
Yes, I'm using the Camera Connection Kit along with my camera's USB cable. Thanks.
I'm trying to avoid taking my computer on an overseas trip and just take the iPad. But I want to be able to get my photos to the iPad... Thanks anyway 🙂.
Does your camera use an SD card? Have you tried using the Camera Connection Kit to connect only the SD card (not the camera) to the iPad?
Get a few high capacity memory stick for your trip.
Not yet. I'll talk to them at the store and see if this would work. I hate to keep buying accessories that don't work. This is probably my best bet! Thanks again.
The CCK do not read Sony memory stick.
Well crap. Guess I'm out of luck. Thanks for the info.
I thought you mentioned in your opening post that the Lightning to USB adapter doesn't work with your Sony Cyber Shot.
