Gaming potential on the new MacBook 13inch

This is what specifications are on the new MacBook 13inch.
Graphics and Video Support
Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory1

This is what is on my iMac
ATI Radeon X1600 graphics with 128MB GDDR3 memory

Can someone explain the difference and advise on whether the MacBook would be as good for playing games?

imac Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

long and the short is your IMAC is better for games and although you macbook would play games they would look far inferior and at a much lower frame rate than on your imac

I downloaded a trial for World of Warcraft last night and installed it on my MacBook. I only have 512 Ram (but will be upgrading) and I got 20-24 fps at 1024 X 640 outside so it was Very playable. I have an iMac G5 1.8 with 2 gigs of Ram and it only get a few more fps that that so it plays very similarily.

Getting a RAM upgrade today to 2 gigs and will report back what difference I get in performance.

Also, tried Unreal Tournament 2004 and thought the performance was decent (some maps are slower than others). It would have been cool if Apple put in some kind of built-in 3D accelerator but obviously if they did it would seriously compete with the MacBook Pro's.

I have been very happy with my new machine and the RAM increase will make it scream
