My iMessage won't let me in to start texting what do I do

You need to have an Apple ID account.

What to mean "it won't let me in"? What exactly does that mean? You can't get into the Messages Serting to turn it on? You can't enter your Apple ID?

If you have Messages set up and you can't send any texts go to Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field. Make sure that is set to OFF.

Otherwise you really need to supply some more details about what is happening.
