What is a .stix?

I'm trying to download Windows Media Player 9 for Macs but it's a .stix file. What kind of program do I need to run this?

iMac Dual Core, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Just one other note on that, box15. Microsoft halted all Mac development of Media Player a few months back. Even their own site refers to Flip4Mac as an alternative. There's already a number of proprietary MS video formats that the Mac version of Media Player can't handle that Flip4Mac can. So keep an eye on Flip's site for an Intel version.

Hi - the normal version of Flip4Mac can be installed on the Intel by temporarily changing your installer to run under Rosetta.
