I have been having some computer problems with my mac. I came across tune up my mac one day and I downloaded it but it was only the trail version. Once it was done running you had to purchace it. Is there someplace where I can get a full version download? Also, Is tune up my mac trustworthy?

It occurs to me that tuneupmymac-K is a potentially undesirable program that is very probably spyware or other form of malware. My malware blocker (otherwise known as an anti-virus) keeps telling me it's blocking repeated attempts of the program to install itself onto my machine into my System software. These tend to come in concurrent with non-solicited emails trying to get me to visit supposedly well-known websites through a link, while the emails come from anyplace BUT that website and hovering over the links go to some completely different website. All told, these seem to be attempts to crack my machine and load it up with "helpers" that do anything BUT help the machine.

I suggest you use the program created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. It will provide a snapshot of your system which we can analyze to possibly determine the cause of your problem. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

Most people around here, myself included dont' advise "tune up" software because it's sort of like putting fuel cleaner in the gas for a busted radiator.

The better course of action is to have a mechanic look over the whole vehicle and tell you what's wrong.

Unfortunatly we can't crawl though the lines and tell you what's wrong with your machine, we can only advise based upon what you tell us and usually that's limited because your the one asking for help and if you knew already then you certainly would be asking questions.

So Iv'e laid out some information and links if you spend the time reading them help you understand your machine and thus can even provide us more information so we can assist you in asisting yourself.

This one here if you run the niffty little app, will tell us what's going on with your machine in more detail so we can advise accordingly. If you provide the data, we can provide better assistance.
