How can i re-import pics and videos from my iPhone after i have deleted them on my PC?

I imported all of my pictures and videos on to my PC into a folder. I accidently deleted the folder. So when i try to import everything again, it says iPhone has no new pictures or videos to import. How can I import everything again?

(I imported everything by right-clicking the iphone on 'My Computer' and clicking 'import pictures and videos').

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Try the steps to transfer photos from iPhone to computer again:

  • Connect the iPhone to your computer. The AutoPlay dialog box should open when Windows detects the iPhone. Select "Import Pictures and Videos."
  • Click the Start button if the AutoPlay dialog box does not open and select "Computer." Right-click the iPhone and select "Import Pictures and Videos."
  • Click "Import Settings" if you don't want the photos copied to the My Pictures folder. Click "Browse" and select your preferred folder. Click "OK."
  • Click the "Erase After Importing" button if you want the photos deleted from the iPhone.
  • Click the "Import" button. When the import is finished, the Windows Photo Gallery opens. Your iPhone photos are in the "Recently Imported" section.

Note: selecting "Always erase from device after copying" under "Import settings" will permanently delete the photos from the iPhone after the transfer.

I'm having the same exact problem as Anything will do. I normally just plug my iPhone 5 into my PC and the import runs. When I plug it in, it says no new photos are on the device but there are over 300 photos and videos. My phone appears under "Portable Device" but when I open the DCIM folder, there are only 3 pictures in there that I took today. It shows nothing else and I have no idea how to get all of these pics off my phone. I've never had this happen before. Can anyone help?

Also, I tried the above suggestions about Showing Hidden folders but when i got to the part about navigating to c:/users/[accountname], I'm not sure what account name I'm supposed to use here...

How can i re-import pics and videos from my iPhone after i have deleted them on my PC?
