Interesting.....a pro-apple poster doesn't get his post removed even though he is using......what did that Apple Host call it when they ripped down my post????? Oh yeah....inflammatory statements......which mine were actually less than what you wrote....but of course Apple has its own set of standards when we are drinking the kool-aid.
Z....irrefutable evidence? Please look that up on google and learn what that means dear Lord. If we were in court I can bet you what I wrote goes over better with a jury. No one's personal account of what has happened is irrefutable. And again, just because you had an instance where things worked doesn't mean THEY ALWAYS WORK. The issue with this whole mess is that your steps IMPROVE things but they do NOT fix things. My point to you is that even this far out you have no idea what you have missed unless you are a socio-path and are stalking everyone with an Iphone and asking them every day if they sent you a message and then reconciling some spreadsheet you have started......so, U R WRONG Zelous, WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG........WRRRRRROOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG (sung with a British accent). Random issues that drop texts that you may never know got sent is impossible IMPOSSIBLE for you to know if it still occurs with your phone. IMPOSSIBLE. Unless, you are 13 and have 2 friends with an Iphone..........which you might be.
And when Apple loses the class action lawsuit, I'll come back to gloat........
if u spent as much effort trying to fix ur imessage issue as u do trying to prove how much u can be wrong on a forum i think u would be a happy person by now. and btw its very simply really. i have an ipad that was signed into the same apple id. so all messages that were coming in as imessage showed up there. i KNOW when i dont get a message. in other words, ur mouth must very much taste like feet after all of this. and that ends my trolling on mike because quite frankly, its just getting boring (for now).
as for the people on here that are reading this to actually fix their problem and not just complain like whiney little children that it doesnt fix itself without some work:
1. call applecare and have ur number removed from the system
2. wait 48 hours
3. tell anyone that u suspect is still sending u imessages instead of regular sms text messages to update their software and turn on send as sms in their message settings. if u dont feel like troubleshooting their phone with those steps then u can alway have them call applecare instead.
these steps have not proven 100% effective for everyone, especially for group messaging, but they are the best method to getting the issue resolved as of right now.
