Why two Send boxes in Mail App ?
I sometimes get confused: where is my sent mail ? there are two Sent boxes.
One under Mailboxes and one under Gmail
I never know when the sent mail appears on one or the other.

Please go and find the box and leave us to help people who actually want to be helped.

What "box" are you refering too?
That's it; I'm finished with this.
I'm sure you don't want to hear from this conversation anymore, but it seems all the others (including the creator of this thread) continues to add replies regardless of stating they were leaving.

Perhaps if you read the link in Daniels post you would not need to ask which box?
Aha, sorry, I WAS GOING to open that link, but then I was typing my reply and I forgot. All clear now. Thanks.
🙂
Admit... I did not pass the Mensa test....although I tried a few times.
How about Csound1 ??😁
By the way, Mail works fine (since a few weeks). The deleting behaviour is corrected.
I delete a mail from All Mail (or other boxes) and all other boxes are clearing that mail.
And synced with Gmail and Postbox (although syncing is not always immediate)
They all work together and I do not need more explanations or sarcastic comments.
Apologize for having misstrusted your guidance. How do I know if the person responding is to be trusted ?
I see that Csound1 is level 7 and has many responses. What is level7 ?
But as said, an article (Help Files, Support sites, Mac World articles) or similar responses in the Forum
would be better than spending time to explain something that is already explained by others
(do not reinvent the wheel !) 😉

6 levels above you.
LOL.
Again the Mail app has two Send boxes! this time it does not respond to the usual command
Use this Mailbox for Sent
Mail does not have 2 sent boxes, disconnect the account and see for yourself.
Mail app has one Sent box only but the Gmail shows a Sent Message box
So I have simply deleted that one from Gmail and now there is only on Sent box in the Mail app.
Gmail also has Bin and Deleted Messages
Besides, all messages that I delete gå to the All Mail box as usual
But I don't bother with that now, it is a kind of bug in Mail app which can be disreguarded
Good luck
My situation is a bit different and I could use some help. On my macbook I have 3 email accounts. All are set up as exchange accounts to I can sync across devices. Under the "mailboxes" I have
Inbox
account 1
account 2
account 3
VIP's
Flagged
Drafts
account 1
account 2
account 3
Sent
account 1
account 2
account 3
Junk
Trash
Under that I have a section for each mailbox and each has it's own "sent" (as well as other boxes)
Account 1
sent
Account 2
sent
Account 3
sent
I have the sent box in the "Mailboxes" set up as the one to use but there was a 3 day period where sent messages from account 1 are not in that mailbox sent box, but are in the sent box under the Account 1. Today sent mails are being saved in mailbox sent mail folder again.
What the hey?
This topic is solved long ago
