10.8.4 Screen Saver

I know some folks were having problems with their system screen savers in 10.8.2 and 10.8.3.

My problem was mainly with 10.8.2. Failed to activate a few times in 10.8.3, but then mysteriously healed itself.

Will 10.8.4 finally fix this problem?

I hate to say this but the ScreenSaver problem has not been corrected with OS X Mavericks. I have been having this problem ever since I installed OS X version 10.8.2.

OS 10.8.5 appeared to have fixed the problem and the screensaver for 10.9 seemed to be working fine ever since I intalled it on Oct. 22.

But, today the problem has returned.

Now I have to use a HotCorner to activate it. It refuses to activate automatically.

FYI...

Last night, I used Time Machine to restore my system back to 10.8.5.

ScreenSaver is now working like a charm.

I was also having problems with Safari freezing up... that problem is gone too.

I'm staying away from Mavericks until they fix it.

I brought the last 2 posts over here to let folks know what I've been going through.

Hope it helps.
