WHERE IS THIS "REMOTE" BUTTON IN ITUNES????? I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE AND CANT FIND WHERE TO PUT IN THE CODE!!!!

The article clearly states :

3) Open iTunes on your computer and click the remote button.."

So, smart guy, where is it?

i cant find the remote button either. but, instead of using the "device" option when setting up the remote, you use the "home sharing" option and it works.

The remote button will appear at the top of the screen next to the music tab AFTER you click the "pair device" button on the remote app. This confused me forever as well.

The trick is to close itunes. Open the remote app. In the app click add itunes library from settings. Once the 4 digits appear, open itunes. The remote button should appear.

Found the answer in this article! You should connect phone and computer with cable. Then restart iTunes. There will be 2 devices shown in the top left corner, one of which is the remote.
