Unable to complete activation - account not registered

I've had my iOS dev account for a while and just registsed my new iPhone. When I try and install the iOS7 ipsw I get the following error:

We’re unable to complete your activation.

This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the Program, please register your device in the iPhone Developer Program Portal.

Is there something I can do to push the activation, or do we have an ETA for when this will be available?

After multiple failed attempts, I was able to downgrade by launching XCode in organizer and preparing my phone for development use. Even though the UDID had already been entered, for some reason the UDID of my device in question was different than it had been on iOS 6. After XCode added the new UDID to my developer account for me, I was able to place the phone into restore (aka DFU) mode, and restore to 6.1.4 (iPhone 5) using iTunes.

Whatever you do, press UPGRADE, not RESTORE. That single decision caused several hours of panicked effort to revive my development device.

Hope this helps!

Are you still having issues activating your phone?

Do a DFU to your iPhone... Downgrade to 6.1.3

To do this... Plug your iPhone to your Mac. Open itunes and while connected. Hold the sleep and home button on your iPhone until you get the apple. Then, ONLY release you sleep button. Not the home button. This will trigger a recovery option to downgrade.

After you have downgraded your iPhone, select "Option" and click on "Update" within iTunes.

Resolution:

Resolved after updating in iTunes, not restoring.

1. Restore back to 6.1.x via DFU restore

To DFU restore, do the following: Plug the device in and press and hold both buttons until your screen goes black. After 2 full seconds, release the POWER button while still holding the HOME button.

2. In iTunes, hold down Option and click UPDATE in iTunes

3. Select iOS 7 beta and update the software.

Bingo Bango Bongo...you are now functional 🙂
