Hi...I buy iphone5 from Saudi Arabia but I don't have facetime ...now I m shifting to India ..will it work in India or not if I insert a Indian SIM card in my iPhone will it work or not.. Plz help

"India" is a country. Not a cellular carrier.

There are 2 supported carriers in India. Aircel and Aritel. See this list: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937

If you have a legitimately unlocked iPhone, it will work with a properly provisioned SIM from either Aircel or Airtel.

It may work with other carriers in India, but not all features may work as expected.

IF the phone is legitimately unlocked, you can use a SIM card for any compatible GSM carrier. Not all features may work properly on unsupported carriers. If they do not, that's between you and your carrier.

Facetime will NEVER work on your phone, regardless of what carrier you use.

No one here has enough information to answer your question. If the phone was purchased new from an Authorized Apple dealer and was purchased as Unlocked it will work with an Indian SIM, but FACETIME WILL NEVER WORK. If the receipt does not specifically say the phone is unlocked it will NOT work with an Indian SIM. And either way, if it ever needs service you will have to take it back to Saudi Arabia; dealers in India will not fix a phone purchased outside of India.

I realize that English is not your native language, however you have been told over and over only the carrier can authorize the unlock. You need to contact them. The carrier the phone was originally locked to. No one else can help you unlock the phone, period.

No. If the phone is locked, then you can not use a SIM from anyone other than the cellular phone company it is locked to. It can NOT be unlocked by anyone other than the cellular phone company it is locked to.

Only the carrier it is locked to can unlock the phone. You need to contact them and find out if they offer unlocking or not.
